lord, i had a LOT of fun today with my sister. i woke up a little too early, because i was supposed to run a couple of miles...but i skipped that. ;D

soooo instead i made myself a hardy breakfast...well, more like egg whites and buttered toast...but, considering the fact that i can't cook worth anything, i was moderately proud, haha.

chilled out for a while...waited for my sister wake up. then we left for the beach. we didn't get to stay there long, firstly because of the weather...it wasn't beach-worthy weather today...at all. and secondly, it took us literally an hour to find a damn parking place. talk about frustration. but once we'd parked all was great. :]
-took some pictures...nothing fantastic. i think maybe one was deviant material. they were mostly just pictures of our faces. i love those.

came back home after that. then, we left again...so that she could go get her eyebrow pierced. i just stood there and watched while she got her piercing, lol. exciting for her, wrenching for me, bah.

AND after watching that, we went to go see a local fireworks show, and it was pretty amazing. it wasn't a super-long performance, or anything, but it was definitely huge. you could feel the echoes off of the buildings around you, they were so booming...i loved it.
-took some photos of this, too. a couple of them i'm pretty proud of myself for. hopefully you'll enjoy them, and the others, for that matter.

but, the best part of my day was just being able to spend some time with my sister. i really wish that she wasn't away from home. i get lonely. but, quality, not quantity, right? :]
